In many cases, I don't mind creating a couple of style frames/design sketches, before you take action and order. Also, we will have a quick chat about your expectations and goals with the project.
I wish! My strengths are that I work in both 3D and 2D and I'm good at being able to take inspiration from a lot of different references and styles. But at the same time, I'm only one person. For many bigger projects you will need a team of people where every person is very niched. I believe that in many cases, I can replace a small studio, but for bigger projects you'll have to look elsewhere unfortunately.
I would say that I have a very competitive rate, if you look at my experience and skillset.
